I would start the review by saying, this book is a treat for book lovers and a unique and brilliantly crafted story.

The story line is such that you will be glued to your seats until you finish reading the book.

A cup of coffee and a good story that is all what you need to relax and enjoy your time.

It is the debut novel from author Tonga Victoria. We discover ourselves within this story. As a fellow reader myself, my hope is that when you see yourself in these pages, you too will feel encouraged enough to pick up another book

This is the perfect book which can Entertain you without taking much of your time. The short and compact nature of the book makes it so good.

No two words nor two names better capture the essence of this individual and her work on Hyphen American.

In ad- dition to the role of writer, the author is an expert in grassroots efforts for social justice having built an extensive career in both the local and international non-profit world.Contrary to the typical book spines that stare at us from atop American library shelves, this piece of work is a mirror of our own reflections. We see ourselves driving through the bustling streets of Carson, California.

For our story to survive, we must believe in its truth. It’s the only way memories are passed on.

Lolomanaia would not be alive to see the discovery of the crack in the Earth, which was made by the best seafarer these waters had ever seen, my great-great-great-grandfather, Henele Makave said!

We picture our ancestors walking through the busy streets of the capital of Nuku’alofa, Tonga. We hear our everyday slang written within the dialogue.

Henele lived back when artificial intelligence was still new and used all he’d learned in university to build something that could navigate the deepest part of the ocean. Makave pulled ivi out from the inner core, studied the seed, and recorded his findings.

The things are all to read for, kudos to the author for narrating this story in simplest of language.

You will definitely enjoy reading this story, as I said earlier, the story is fresh and it really keeps you engaging.
