This trilogy is the birth of what I’d like to call Pasifika Futurism. The great history of the way finding people of the South Pacific, is seamlessly reincarnated through Sam Kelly and her inheritance. She embodies the “Hyphen American” experience with her newfound lineage and her very American ways.

If you loved Marvels “Black Panther” , you will fall in the with this twist on a coming of age story. Tonga Victoria sees the impacts of climate change on her people and imagines the characters as the key agents of change on this global matter. Extremely relevant, innovative, action packed and will keep you tuned in to the next page - or might I say, next book.
